Now the schools are back from Half Term, we would like to remind parents and carers about parking safely for theirs, their children’s’ and others safety when dropping off and picking up from schools.
Please be considerate:
DO NOT STOP OR PARK:
• Near to a school entrance
• Opposite or within 10m (32ft) of a junction
• On a dropped curb, blocking in a vehicle at their address
• In front of an entrance to a property
• On a bend
• On double yellow lines
• On yellow zig-zags
Our PCSO’s will be doing their best to get around the schools so expect to see them in the morning and afternoon at your schools! We have a lot of schools in our District so please be patient with us whilst we get around.In the meantime, nuisance parking, such as parking near schools and unnecessary obstructions can be reported online here.
